Bookkeeper - Part Time (Kitchener)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization using leading accounting software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and experience with various accounting tools. Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping - Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to process transactions - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently - Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy - Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities - Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting as needed - Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and standards Requirements - Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting practices - Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks - Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes - Ability to perform account analysis and account reconciliation accurately - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity - Prior experience in budgeting and financial reporting is desirable - Solid communication skills and a professional attitude Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - On-site parking Education: - DCS / DEC (preferred) Experience: - QuickBooks: 7 years (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjj6n
