Warehouse/Forklift/Reach Truck Operator (Victoria North)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate with Forklift and or Reach Truck experience, to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be a talented and safe Operator. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability operate a counter balance forklift in addition to a reach truck. Duties - Operate Reach Trucks and forklifts, including large and small machines, to transport materials within the warehouse and within racking. - Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas. - Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently using a warehouse management system. - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations. - Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies. - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. - Other duties as assigned Skills - Proven experience in warehouse distribution with a strong understanding of Warehouse operations and equipment - Proficiency in operating other equipment within the warehouse is highly desirable. - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues. - Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management. - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring physical fitness for the role. - Familiarity with warehouse management systems to streamline operations.
