Regional Cross Border Az Tanker Driver (Breslau)

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Breslau, ON! This route runs from Breslau, ON to various site-disposal locations in Canada and into the United States and averages 55-60 hours per week. About the role: - Union position - Travel away from home 2-3 days a week - Union hourly wage of $35.26 Why work for Safety-Kleen? - Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! - Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30-days of full time employment which include dental, vision, and pharmacy. - Group RRSP is eligible after three months with company matching component - Paid time off, company paid training, and tuition reimbursement - Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times - Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit - Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center - Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units - Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations - Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports QUALIFICATIONS - Class AZ CDL - Minimum 12 months Class AZ experience - Minimum 3 months Tanker experience - TDG and Tanker endorsements - Ability to climb and work from heights - Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more - Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed) - Valid Canadian Passport - Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software - Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US For additional information about driver career opportunities, please call us at 72-DRIVE (833-723-7483).
