In this role, you will participate in the electrical design of advanced robotic systems, focusing on PCB layout and power distribution. Working closely with a small hardware team, you will play a pivotal role in the overall design and prototyping of essential electrical subsystems. Key Responsibilities: - Design sub-modules of electrical systems for robots - Participate in PCB layout for control boards and power circuits - Tackle design challenges from architecture to detailed schematic - Collaborate on Wiring Harness Design to minimize EMI - Execute Functional Safety Management across product lifecycle Requirements: - B.Sc. in electrical engineering or equivalent - Min. 7+ years in hardware design, preferably robotics - Excellent PCB layout and electrical design skills - Familiarity with IEC safety standards and testing methods - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Drive innovation in robotics hardware with Avidbots' skilled team in Kitchener, focusing on high-quality, reliable designs.
