Join the interdisciplinary team at the Withdrawal Management Centre as a Nurse Practitioner. In this role, you will assess and manage patients facing acute withdrawal from substances. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, conduct health assessments, and support harm reduction. Your clinical leadership will directly impact patient outcomes in a meaningful way. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct advanced assessments for substance withdrawal - Develop and implement personalized withdrawal management plans - Prescribe medications safely per NP directives - Collaborate with addiction medicine physicians - Provide mentorship to nursing staff and team members Requirements: - Master's in Nursing and CNO registration as NP & RN(EC) - Minimum 5 years in addiction medicine - 3-5 years mental health & addictions experience - Authorized to prescribe narcotics/controlled substances - Solid communication, leadership, and organizational skills Make a difference in individuals' lives through compassionate, informed care in addiction and mental health at WRHN.
