Summary We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Repair Technician to join our team in . In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of restaurant equipment, ensuring our clients receive reliable and efficient service. Your expertise will help uphold our company's reputation for quality and dependability. Responsibilities - Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain specialized Middle Eastern-style commercial kitchen equipment, including pide ovens, manakish ovens, lahmacun ovens, shawarma machines, doner machines (including robot doner models), double blade food processors, skewer kebab machines, yufka machines, lokma machines, Turkish-style tea machines, Afghan-style bread ovens, Iraqi-style bread ovens, and similar equipment used in Turkish, Syrian, Lebanese, and Iranian kitchens. - Identify mechanical, electrical, gas, and proprietary issues; source or prepare parts; perform repairs; and install/prepare machines to meet customer specifications. - Provide on-site emergency and preventive maintenance services to minimize client downtime in restaurants and foodservice operations. - Read and interpret technical manuals (often in Turkish or Arabic), schematics, and manufacturer-specific guidelines for imported equipment. - Ensure all repairs comply with Canadian food safety standards, electrical/gas codes, and workplace health/safety regulations. - Maintain accurate service records, monitor parts inventory for specialized components, and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and recommendations. - Uphold high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service in a rapid-paced environment.
