Dispatcher/Customer Service Active Towing & Recovery - Kitchener, ON Established in 1967, Active Towing is a family-run business providing a complete towing fleet able to handle any job. Active Towing and Recovery has an exciting career opportunity to join our Dispatch department as a Full-time Dispatch Assistant/Call Taker. Day shifts and future Saturday shifts are available. We offer competitive wages and benefits. The successful candidate will require the following qualifications: Good knowledge of city, strong organizational skills. Customer service experience is an asset. Skilled phone manner, ability to remain calm and courteous during stressful situations. Excellent typing speed and accuracy for live call taking & email processing. Excellent multi-tasking ability, telephone system, radio, smart phones, web, automated dispatch system, multiple programs and monitors. Fast paced, team oriented workplace requiring reliable, effective and timely verbal and virtual information sharing. Totally dependable, punctual work ethic is critical, consistently congenial personality. This is a constantly changing, fast paced environment.
