Summary: Location : La Prairie, QC Duration : months Responsibilities: Company Framework Integration: Conduct a thorough review of the existing company safety management framework and identify gaps. Assign ownership for identified gaps and areas for improvement. Implement the updated company framework across all relevant departments. Policy Development: Evaluate current EHS policies for effectiveness and compliance with the company framework. Develop recent EHS policies where gaps are identified. Update existing policies to align with the company framework and best practices. Ensure all policies are well-documented and easily accessible to employees. Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace. Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks. Monitor the effectiveness of mitigation strategies over time. Machine Assessments: Assess all machinery for compliance with safety standards. Identify any machinery that poses a safety risk. Provide recommendations for modifications or additional safety measures for non-compliant machinery. Support the implementation of recommended safety measures. LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) Procedures: Review existing LOTO procedures for effectiveness and compliance with the company framework. Develop comprehensive LOTO procedures where they are lacking. Update existing procedures to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and align with the company framework. Train employees on the current or updated LOTO procedures. Compliance Calendar Creation: Research all local and provincial regulations relevant to EHS. Create a compliance calendar that outlines key compliance dates and actions required. Regularly update the compliance calendar to reflect changes in regulations or organizational practices. Deliverables: Comprehensive assessment report of the current company framework. Enhanced company framework design document. Recent and updated EHS policies. Completed risk assessments and mitigation plans. Machine assessment reports and recommendations. Developed or updated LOTO procedures. Compliance calendar. Reporting: Monthly progress reports to stakeholders. Final comprehensive report at the end of the project.
