OFSAA Developer (Lac-Brome)

Position: OFSAA Developer Location: Canada – Remote 6+ months Contract Rate: CAD 65/hr on T4 Job Description/ Responsibilities • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and support of data-driven applications, covering all phases of the SDLC, in highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed environments. • Financial services and/or enterprise-level experience is required. • Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL, including development of packages, procedures, functions, and other database objects. • Strong hands-on experience with Data Warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), fact and dimension tables, metadata, and performance tuning. • Solid experience with ETL and Data Integration principles, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple source systems. • Hands-on experience using Python for data processing, ETL automation, analysis, and scripting, including database and API integrations. • Strong experience with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, including development, support, and optimization of reports and dashboards for business and regulatory users. • Working knowledge of Java and/or REST APIs. • Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting. • Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as BMC Control M and/or AutoSys. • Willingness to occasionally work non-standard shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders. What are the top 3 skills required for this role? • 1. Experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA). • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and work tracking. • Experience with regulatory and risk reporting, particularly CECL and CCAR.
