Electrical Apprentice (3rd–5th Year) (Emeryville)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 3rd year - 5th year Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction related electrical systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in both residential and industrial settings, ensuring that all electrical installations, repairs, and renovations meet safety standards and regulations. Required Licences - 3rd - 5th Year Apprentice Duties - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform various electrical tasks. - Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing appropriate solutions. - Work with low voltage systems as required for specific projects. - Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work. - Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations throughout all tasks. - Working at heights as required Skills - Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. - Experience as an industrial electrician is a plus. - Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in various settings. - A maintenance person mentality with the capability to handle diverse tasks beyond electrical work is advantageous. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
