Job Description We are seeking a motivated and analytical Advanced Analytics Data Engineer to support quality, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced engineering and testing setting.This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in process improvement, data analytics, quality engineering, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and database-driven analysis. Key Responsibilities - Support data analytics, quality, and process engineering activities - Develop and maintain procedure documentation and process workflows - Perform: - Efficiency assessments - Process capability analysis - Cycle-time and downtime analysis - FTC monitoring and categorization - Execute DFSS/DMAIC projects focused on quality improvement and cost reduction - Implement Lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies - Drive root-cause investigations and autonomous mitigation/prevention activities for testing issues - Utilize statistical and analytical tools to improve operational performance and quality metrics - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university - Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in: Process improvement / Quality engineering / KPI optimization (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) - Strong experience with: DFSS / DMAIC / Six Sigma / Root Cause Analysis / PFMEA - 8D/ 5S / Kaizen / Gage R&R; / NOVA / ISO-17025 - Proficiency with: - MS Office Suite / Minitab / SPC tools - Statistical distributions and analysis methods - Experience developing Excel Macros / VBA tools - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in Engineering or related field - Experience with MS Project and project management methodologies - Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching abilities - Experience presenting technical findings to senior leadership - Knowledge of relational databases (DB2) and ability to write SQL queries/statements - Exposure to C/C++ or Java development is a plus Location: Windsor, ON (100% Onsite) Disclaimer: Kyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
