Production Manager (Essex)

Job description: Job description To ensure that all elements of the Production Team operate in a safe, timely and productive manner. - Following up and schedule according to customer releases - Assigning jobs to the hourly work force in a prompt organized fashion - Assuring jobs are set-up in a safe, efficient, running manner - Assure all employees are provided with the necessary tools to accomplish their portion of the job - Continuous monitoring of all facets of the manufacturing process with emphasis on improving quality, efficiency and safety - Assure that all manufacturing issues are identified, logged and corrected and updated in engineering prior to shipping finished materials Qualifications - Min 2 years Supervisory experience in a production environment - Must be able to read blueprints - Experience with automotive dunnage specifications an asset - Strong analytical and organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care Ability to commute/relocate: - Oldcastle, ON N9G 0C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - plant management: 1 year (required) - production management: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Pay: From $30.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: - Essex, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ouegt
