Plant Manager – BU2 Thermal and Fluid Systems Responsible for overseeing production at the MAHLE Tilbury site, managing P&L;, engineering, logistics, operations, and talent development to drive strategic growth, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Receive feedback before giving feedback. - Build an inclusive workplace where employees are valued and respected. - Own talent management: diversity, equity, inclusion, learning and development, performance management, and succession planning. - Assist with the establishment & execution of the strategic long‑range plan for BU2 North America while supporting short‑term objectives. - Create roadmaps for Operations, Operational Excellence, Logistics and Production Engineering, prioritizing productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction. - Analyze and prioritize opportunities for all locations, engaging cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable results. - Collaborate with Executive Staff and plant managers to foster cultural transformation, build matrix teams and drive talent multiplication. - Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage escalated manufacturing, logistics, operational excellence and production engineering issues. - Lead and execute strategic, complex process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, 8‑D, problem solving and value analysis. - Maintain disciplined process management, data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement aligned with strategy. - Serve as a leader of change and innovation, challenging status quo and influencing others to embrace change and implement ideas. - Establish measurement systems to identify opportunities and quantify improvements. - Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in production operations management, engineering, business or related discipline (MBA preferred). - Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in progressive management roles at a Tier1 global or multinational company as a plant manager. - Proven track record delivering strategic results and executing effective change management. - Strong leadership and project‑management capabilities, with experience completing cross‑functional, cross‑cultural projects. - Solid foundational knowledge of P&L; management. - Excellent ability to benchmark and report year‑over‑year progress.
