Construction Lead Hand (Essex)

We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Lead Hand to support our Site Supervisor and help drive day‑to‑day production on residential and light commercial builds. This role is the #2 on site — the person the crew looks to for direction, quality control, and steady hands-on leadership. If you take pride in your work, communicate well, and know your way around framing, siding, and power tools, you’ll fit right in. Key Responsibilities - Support the Site Supervisor in coordinating daily tasks, crew direction, and workflow. - Lead small teams or individual tasks independently when delegated. - Perform high-quality framing, wood siding, and steel siding installations. - Operate a wide range of power tools safely and efficiently (saws, nailers, grinders, impacts, etc.). - Assist with layout, measurements, material handling, and site organization. - Maintain a clean, protected, and compliant job site. - Communicate clearly with the Supervisor regarding progress, issues, and material needs. - Uphold CK Construction’s standards for workmanship, professionalism, and client interaction.
