Service Shop Assistant, Finch Hyundai Highland (Highlands)

About the Role Finch Hyundai is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Shop Assistant / Drive-Thru Greeter to be the welcoming face of our service department. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth and qualified experience for our customers as they arrive, while also supporting the service team by keeping the shop clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities Drive-Thru / Customer Service Greet all incoming service customers promptly and professionally in the drive-thru. Direct customers to appropriate advisors or service bays. Assist with initial intake and ensure smooth traffic flow through the drive-thru area. Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to set a positive tone for the service experience. Help with valet service, vehicle movement, or parking when needed. Shop Support / Cleanliness Keep service bays, drive-thru area, and general shop space clean, organized, and free of debris. Dispose of waste and used parts in compliance with dealership procedures. Restock shop supplies such as floor mats, cleaning products, washer fluid, etc. Support technicians and advisors with light duties as needed (e.g., moving vehicles, fetching parts). Assist with opening and closing duties of the shop. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift moderate weight throughout the shift. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment. Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required. Automotive experience is an asset but not required.
