Carpenter Apprentice (Langford)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking carpenter apprentice to join our team. This role is essential to supporting various operational tasks across our projects, ensuring smooth workflow and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is required. Duties - A carpenter’s duties and responsibilities depend on their working environment and the specific projects they are undertaking. Some common, day-to-day tasks include: - Preparing for projects by visiting building sites, taking measurements, studying blueprints - Sourcing lumber and parts like nails, screws and hinges, and other construction materials - Designing and building structures using wood and other materials - Working with specialized machinery and tools - Installing structures, fixtures and fittings on-site - Inspecting finished structures and consulting on carpentry-related projects Qualifications - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Solid work ethic with attention to safety procedures - Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly - Reliable transportation and punctuality are preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogoir
