Line Cook

on behalf of our client, to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the culinary excellence of their establishment. If you have a passion for cooking and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, we'd like to introduce you to this important role in the world of culinary arts.

Requirements:

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks:

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

Inspect kitchens and food service areas

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Order supplies and equipment

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
