Job Title : Carpenter Foreman Location : Langford/VictoriaResponsibilities: Maintain company safety guidelines and practices Good understanding of construction schedules and the ability to implement changes to accommodate work schedule accordingly Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and convey this information to others Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goalsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to report project status to superintendent daily Good understanding of safety policies and safe work while ensuring that all safety rules are being followed at all times Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example Provide proper guidance and learning opportunities for laborers and apprenticesEfficiently delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and sub-trades Develop and oversee quality standards on all sites Qualifications: Completed high school or equivalent, OR equivalent combination of education and experience Open minded, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively3rd or 4th level Journeyman Carpenter Possess strong leadership skills with effective participation in team environment Has excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Looking to participate in an exciting environment and company that is proving to be a game-changer in the industry 5 years of related construction experienceAbility to travel as required We appreciate all applications but only those qualified will be contacted for an interview.
