Customer Service/Cook (Langford)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries related to our food service offerings, ensuring that they have a positive experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards. We may also support your Permanent Residence applications through available provincial/federal programs Duties - Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding food service and meal preparation. - Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. - Assist customers in placing orders and resolving any issues related to their orders. - Maintain a thorough understanding of food safety regulations and ensure compliance during customer interactions. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. - Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution that satisfies both the customer and the company. - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our system. - Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Qualifications - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting. - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. - Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. - A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this position. - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
