Requirements: Completion of secondary school. Must have 1-2 years of work experience in food service industry. 1 year of work experience as a supervisor in food service industry is preferred.

Job Duties:
The Food service supervisor is responsible for efficient operation of restaurant by co-ordinating the activities of employees.
• Supervise the employees by scheduling and coordinating their work activities
• Track inventory and place food and supplies order for preparing customer orders
• Monitors meals being served to ensure established standards of quality are maintained.
• Create employee shift schedule
• Demonstrates floor leadership by working at various stations during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels
• Maintain records of food sales
• Resolves problems that arise such as customer complaints or supply shortages
• Keeps a record of food inventory, product waste and food sales
• Train employees in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensures that customers receive prompt and friendly service
• Assist in hiring new employees
• Assist store manager in developing work procedures and safety policies
