HVAC Service Advisor/ Receptionists (Langley)

Responsibilities for Service Writer - Provide excellent customer service from start to finish, and perform any additional follow up - Listen carefully to customer descriptions and assess the service call needs to prepare the service technician. - Advise the customer on the HVAC costs for maintenance and service repairs - Communicate with wholesalers and technicians to make sure everything needed is on hand or ready at the supplier for pickup with corresponding job names/numbers - Provide updates to customers with the status of their parts on order - Answer detailed questions about services performed and price information - Maintain customer records by keeping all files organized - Schedule appointments over the phone - Send out invoices and collect service receivables - Help with General Administrative tasks when needed. Qualifications for Service Writer - Strong math and accounting skills, high school graduate or equivalent. - Solid understanding of HVAC and the ability to identify appropriate repairs for equipment. - Ability to break down complicated HVAC or industry topics into understandable language meant for customer understanding - Advanced computer and data-entry skills - Organizational and record-keeping skills - Ability to stand, walk, sit and lift up to 25 pounds - Have a teamwork mindset in the workplace and accept feedback on your work - Understand the typical format of company schedules in order to manage time efficiently Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.34 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Education: - Secondary School (preferred) Experience: - administrative assistant: 2 years (preferred) - Service Writing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nxnrm
