Indigenous Graphic Design Intern (Summer) Remote (Canada) | 12–16 Week Paid Internship $23/hour | 4-Day Workweek BOOM InterTribal is looking for an Indigenous Graphic Design Intern to support the creation and rollout of campaign assets across digital, social, and print platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student or emerging designer looking to gain real agency experience while building a strong portfolio through meaningful client work. You’ll work alongside Creative, Content, and Account teams in a collaborative boutique agency environment grounded in Indigenous perspectives, storytelling, and community impact. What You’ll Do - Adapt and resize creative assets across digital and social platforms - Support campaign rollouts across social, web, print, and OOH - Prepare final files for production and delivery - Assist with layouts, presentation materials, and social-first creative - Apply feedback and revisions quickly and accurately - Collaborate with Creative, Content, Account, and Project Management teams to keep projects moving smoothly - Maintain consistency across campaign assets and brand standards What You Bring - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graphic design or related program - Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - Strong foundation in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy - Understanding of digital and social design formats - Solid attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to take direction, apply feedback, and work within deadlines - Interest in storytelling, culture, and purpose-driven creative work Why BOOM? - Paid summer internship with a 4-day work week - Real-world agency experience across integrated campaigns - Mentorship from senior creative leaders - Opportunity to build a portfolio with professional client work - Flexible, collaborative, and culturally grounded work environment - Potential opportunity for future extension based on performance and business needs Please include a portfolio or sample of your work with your application.
