Summary We are seeking a Lab Technician with strong sales skills to join our team at Langley Eyecare Centre in Langley, BC. In this role, you will support our optical services by preparing and maintaining eyewear and assisting in various laboratory tasks, contributing to our mission of exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble eyewear according to prescriptions and specifications. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality standards. Assist with inventory management of optical supplies, frames, and contact lenses. Support optometrists and optical staff in daily operations. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the office. Answer phones and greet patients promptly and enthusiastically. Call patients to book annual exams. Check patients in and submit claims to extended perks. Qualifications Proven experience in an optical laboratory setting. Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care. Familiarity with optical equipment and tools. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive communication skills. Experience with retail sales or customer service. Knowledge of Visual Eyes software is advantageous but not required.
