Veterinary Receptionist (Langley)

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE APPLYING Willowbrook Animal Hospital is looking for an amazing receptionist. If you love customer service and have experience in the veterinary industry then we are looking for you. This is a full time position with a mixture of shifts am/pm and weekends. Duties will include but are not limited to:- - Answering the phones. We have a multi line system. - Picking up voice mail and responding to messages left. - Making and scheduling appointments - Billing and checking out clients - Keeping the reception and exam rooms clean and ready for use. - Scanning documents and attaching incoming files to Medical records - E mailing records to other clinics - E mailing and contacting clients for follow up appointments. - Taking food orders - Helping Clients with food purchases - Occasionally Assisting Doctor in exam room - Assisting with cleaning and other duties in the back when needed - Handling of cats and dogs on an as required basis We are a paper light clinic and use the Avimark operating system. It is a comprehensive system designed for Veterinary use and is user friendly. We are looking for a person who has graduated from a Veterinary Receptionist/ Assistant Program and has experience in the veterinary field and enjoys interacting with customers. A pleasant and knowledgeable phone manner is a must as is a sense of humor. The ideal candidate will be the face and voice of our clinic. Willowbrook Animal hospital is a general practice, full service hospital. We do everything from wellness exams to complicated orthopedic procedures for cats and dogs. We have a team of Three Doctors, Three Technicians and four Assistants. We are an AAHA accredited hospital and take excellent pride in the fact that we adhere to the high standards of care that AAHA requires. Wages $21 - $22 per hour depending on experience.
