Painter/Prepper (Langley)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and JR Painter/Prepper to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing for painting, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to maintain our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion - Apply primer and paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers with attention to detail - Use hand tools and power tools to perform surface repairs and refinishing tasks - Assist with disassembly and reassembly as needed for painting projects - Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency - Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards Skills - automotive repair background is highly desirable - Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle bodywork and painting processes - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment an asset - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique - prep work including sanding, masking, and surface preparation - Mechanic experience or familiarity is a plus - Robust attention to detail with an emphasis on quality finishes - Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment This position offers an opportunity for growth within the company Pay: From $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oghqn
