Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, experienced, and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Must be 19+ and have a valid Serving It Right Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit - Take orders, serve drinks, and handle cash or card transactions with proper cash handling procedures - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards - Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations - Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management - Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, promote specials, and enhance overall customer satisfaction - Follow all food safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times Qualifications - Previous experience in food industry or restaurant setting preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles - Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods - Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately - Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail - Hospitality background is a plus, demonstrating a genuine interest in providing exceptional guest experiences This position offers an exciting chance for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to develop their skills in a lively bar setting.
