Duties - Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities - Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans - Maintain detailed and accurate client records and treatment notes - Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices - Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations - Collaborate with other healthcare providers or wellness professionals as needed - Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements Qualifications - Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations - Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health history - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients - Solid communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and wellness advice effectively - Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific modalities if necessary - Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards at all times This position offers a rewarding opportunity for licensed massage therapists committed to enhancing clients’ health through expert care and personalized treatments.
