General Labourer (Langley)

Job Title: General Labourer Location: Langley, BC Status: Temporary full time GFL Environmental is looking for a motivated, hardworking General Labourer to join our Langley team. This role is essential to maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance of our facility and yard. Shift Schedules: Shift 1 - Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Shift 2 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Key Responsibilities - Facility Maintenance: Perform general cleanup of the shop and office exterior. - Yard Upkeep: Regular litter pick-up and debris removal to ensure site safety. - Surface Care: Power washing equipment, bins, and walkways; basic painting and touch-up work as needed. - Landscaping: Basic yard maintenance to keep the perimeter tidy. - Growth: Adapt to new operational duties as they are assigned by the supervisor over time. Requirements - Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (rain or shine). - Robust work ethic and the ability to work independently without constant supervision. - Reliability is a must—consistent attendance for the Tuesday–Thursday block is required. - Previous experience in power washing or general maintenance is an asset but not required. - Must be comfortable with the potential for schedule shifts after the initial training/probationary phase. #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
