Warehouse/Delivery Driver (Langley)

Plant Products is proud to be the partner of choice for growers throughout Canada and the USA. We’re hiring a Logistics Coordinator for our Langley team. You’ll be part of a team who is responsible to ensure products reach their destinations in good condition and on-time. What you’ll do - Work with your team to receive, move and ship materials - Put away product into storage location until ready for packing - Pick and pack customer orders according to company’s standard operating procedures - Assist in booking arrangements via courier and/or airline - Deliver orders to local customer - Maintain accurate records of product received and shipped - Ensure quality of product is maintained throughout the packing and shipping processes - Assist in preparation of documentation required for the transportation of goods, including courier labels, AWB, Bill of lading and other documents as required - Other duties/responsibilities as required by management Requirements: - Must have valid class 5 BC driver’s license - Ability to drive a 28’ trailer is an asset - Computer skills, using Microsoft (including Excel, Outlook, Word) is a must - Experience using ERP Systems like Syspro would be a bonus - Solid attention to details - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Demonstrate initiative - Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize - Organizational skills and sense of urgency - Ability to operate a forklift - Excellent verbal and written communications skills Hours - Sunday to Thursday 8-5 pm; Willing to be flexible with hours including weekends Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Life insurance - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Langley, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - What is your level of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook?
