Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food processing environment. Duties - Operate packaging equipment and assist with product assembly to ensure timely production flow - Utilize forklift trucks for moving raw materials and finished products safely within the facility - Follow strict sanitation and food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and compliance with industry standards - Assist in food processing tasks, including ingredient handling and quality checks - Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime - Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any maintenance needs - Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials used - Support sanitation procedures during and after shifts to uphold hygiene standards Skills - Experience with packaging operations and forklift operation preferred - Knowledge of food industry regulations, food safety, and sanitation practices - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively - Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially in food processing environments - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities - Strong understanding of food safety standards and protocols - Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety guidelines - Good communication skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation This position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
