Metrology Technician for R&D Team, Langley

As a Metrology Technician, you will measure complex components and subassemblies, using a range of measurement technologies. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience with CMM programming and operation, where you’ll tackle various metrology challenges daily. Your strong organizational skills will help you adapt to rapidly changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through 5S methodology.

Key Responsibilities:• Program and operate CMM equipment for precise measurements • Utilize gear measurement equipment and optical technologies • Prepare detailed inspection reports based on specifications • Coordinate equipment calibrations and maintenance • Improve lab workspace efficiency through 5S practices

Requirements:• At least 5 years experience with CMM programming • Familiarity with Calypso and MCOSMOS software • Ability to design inspection fixtures and hard gauges • Strong understanding of GD&T standards• Experience with tight tolerances in metric units
