Job Summary Magellan Lawyers LLP, conveniently located in Langley's downtown core, offers innovative and strategic legal advice to businesses in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. We are seeking to add a full time receptionist / office services clerk to our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone manners and the ability to multi-task efficiently. This is a great chance to become part of our extraordinary legal team and to enjoy the many perks of the position, including competitive compensation and room for advancement Responsibilities Oversight of client experience in-office, including greeting clients and maintaining cleanliness of boardrooms, reception and common areas. Answering main telephone line and redirecting calls. Processing incoming and outgoing mail. Receipting and processing credit card payments. Administrative file management, including file opening and change requests. Client correspondence, booking appointments and client interaction. Posting of disbursements. Post-office and bank runs. Office supply management and ordering. Kitchen supply management and ordering; and General office administrative tasks given from other members of the team Qualifications Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or reception roles is required Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Teams, and data entry procedures Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy workplace Previous experience in legal office settings is preferred but not required Knowledge of front desk operations, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Ability to type quickly with high accuracy and proofread documents effectively Demonstrated ability to handle client inquiries, requests or issues professionally and courteously Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Dental care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Application question(s): Must have personal vehicle and valid ICBC insurance coverage Experience: Law Firm: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p9kw5
