Contract Learning Experience Designer - Canada (Joliette)

GP Strategies is looking to expand our learning experience design contractor pool in Canada for projects later in 2026. We are seeking individuals with proven experience working as a learning experience design contractor designing engaging, impactful and creative learning solutions. You'll need experience across all modern learning modalities, including digital (elearning and virtual instructor-led training), face-to-face, and blended experiences. Designers at various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. As a learning design contractor, you will partner closely with clients and internal teams to analyze needs, consult on learning strategies and design learner-centered solutions aligned to business goals. Responsibilities may include learning design, content and technical writing and consulting across diverse projects and audiences. Successful candidates bring a solid foundation in adult learning principles, excellent written and spoken English and a highly client-focused, quality-oriented mindset. You should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, capable of planning your own workload, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment. It would also be highly advantageous to have a solid grasp of working with AI tools as well as industry standard elearning authoring tools such as the Articulate suite.
