Market Sector Lead – Mining Join Our Team as Growth Lead – Mining at QM Environmental QM Environmental is looking for a Growth Lead – Mining to drive strategic growth in one of our most important sectors. About the Role You will lead the full opportunity lifecycle within the mining sector; from early client engagement through to contract award. This role is focused on proactive positioning, building trusted relationships, and securing strategic work by bringing together QM’s full suite of capabilities. What You’ll Do · Build and grow senior-level relationships across the mining sector · Identify and shape strategic opportunities aligned with QM’s strengths · Lead pursuits end to end, including win strategy and teaming approach · Position QM early in project lifecycles to increase competitiveness · Collaborate across estimating, operations, and leadership to deliver winning submissions · Structure partnerships and drive commercial strategies that set projects up for success · Strengthen QM’s market presence through insight, positioning, and industry engagement What You Bring to the Table · 15+ years of experience in mining, infrastructure, environmental services, or major project delivery · Proven success securing and leading complex pursuits, including large-scale contracts in the mid- to high-value range (Over $25M per contract) · Strong network within the mining sector, with established client and partner relationships · Demonstrated ability to win work, not just develop pipeline · Strategic mindset with strong commercial and negotiation skills · Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment · High ownership mindset with a focus on results and follow-through What Success Will Look Like · Strong, trusted relationships with key mining clients and partners · A healthy pipeline of well-qualified, strategic opportunities · Consistent conversion of pursuits into awarded work · Early client engagement, positioning QM as a preferred solutions partner · Increased visibility and credibility for QM within the mining sector Why This Role Matters · This role is key to strengthening QM’s position as a proactive, solutions-based partner, building long-term, client relationships.
