What you will do:
Hourly Bartender– TRR. The Rec Room’s Bartenders are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to every guest. The bartender prepares alcoholic drinks and pours wine and beer for patrons of restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges, and other places where drinks are served. The bartender is friendly and helpful, an expert with standard drink recipes, and flexible to follow guests’ preferences or recipes. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Taking and filling drink orders Garnishing and serving drinks Collecting payment and operating POS Cleaning the work area by removing empty bottles and trash, replacing empty beer kegs, washing glasses and utensils Monitoring and maintaining inventory by keeping track of wines, beers, liquors, and ordering bar supplies when required, and stocking the bar by bringing liquor bottles, mixed‑drink ingredients, and other bar supplies from the storeroomMaintaining a safe environment by checking guests’ identification to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age, determining when a customer has had too much alcohol, stopping service, ensuring a safe ride home is arranged, refusing service, and calling the police if necessary Qualifications:
High‑School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Must be at least the age of majority Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Completed bartending classes preferred Knowledge of drink recipes Demonstrated time‑management and organizational skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Possession of provincial alcohol sale and handling certificate (where required) Benefits:
