Health and Safety Coordinator for Construction, Contrecoeur

Join Pomerleau’s major construction projects as a Health and Safety Coordinator. Ensure compliance and support site personnel in maintaining safety standards across large-scale developments.

In this pivotal role, you will coordinate health and safety activities for projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You’ll collaborate closely with the Health&Safety Manager and site supervisors. Key responsibilities include developing safety programs, inspecting workplaces, and ensuring compliance with project safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Implement and monitor the prevention program on-site • Conduct inspections and report hazardous situations • Organize OHS orientations for site workers • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Representative • Compile and report monthly safety statistics

Requirements:• Post-secondary education in health and safety is an asset • CNESST certificate is preferred • Minimum three years of construction safety experience • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations • Experience with large construction projects
