Network Administrator Expertech Recruiting Laval

We’re hiring a Network Administrator (Level 2) for a hybrid role (3 days onsite) based in Montreal. This position is focused on networking and firewall administration, with a solid emphasis on Firewalls. The expected salary range is approximately $80K–$90K, plus paid on-call. About the company: Well-established organization with a strong presence in Quebec, supporting critical operations across multiple sites. What you will be doing: Provide Level 2 support for system and network operations across the organization Support and manage network infrastructure Troubleshoot network issues and escalations, ensuring stability and performance Support Microsoft-based environments including Active Directory and Group Policy (asset) Document procedures, solutions, and technical changes for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement Participate in IT enhancement and optimization initiatives (small to medium projects) Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners/vendors as needed Occasional travel within various regions of Quebec (3–4 trips per year) What we are looking for: 2–5 years of experience in a System/Network Administrator or Network Support capacity Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as VPN, VLAN, routing/switching, firewall rules, and troubleshooting Experience supporting Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, GPO) is an asset Solid communication skills in English, functional French Comfortable working in a hybrid mode and supporting remote/field locations SQL knowledge is an asset but not required About ExperTech: Connecting talent with employers of choice for over 30 years, ExperTech is a leading staffing and recruiting firm across Canada and the USA.
