Assistant Controller - 12- to 18-month contract (Laval)

YOUR MISSIONS We are seeking an Assistant Controller for a 12- to 18-month contract with a manufacturing company located in Laval. Under the supervision of the controller, your duties will include: - Participate in the monthly closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis) - Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor the budget - Prepare tax returns and certain tax reports - Support external auditors and prepare year-end documents - Assist in the preparation of financial administrative documents - Manage the operations of two entities, including intercompany transactions - Monitor cash flow (bank accounts and credit cards) - Use EPICOR and QuickBooks, particularly for bank reconciliations - Other related tasks YOUR PROFILE What we’re looking for: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - At least 2–3 years of experience - Corporate experience (a plus) - Bilingual in French and English What we offer: - 37.5-hour workweek - 3–4 weeks of vacation - Group insurance - Versatile schedule Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogjik
