Security Consultant II, Ahuntsic North

Security Consultant II Join our Global Web Security group. Our team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, processes, and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients.

As a Security Consultant II, you will be the security services contact, ensuring the integration and support of customers and serving as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success

Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to understand customer use cases and tuning solutions to meet client needs

Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of solution delivery

Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service, and keeping customers engaged

Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery

Communicating with internal, external customers and partners to share information and deliverables

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or its equivalent

Demonstrated experience in a customer‑facing role within the information technology industry

Understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures

Experience with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL

Experience delivering technical projects with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Interest in obtaining or having cyber security credentials such as Security+, SSCP, GSEC or others

Compensation For US based candidates only, the base salary for this position ranges from CAD 92,900 to CAD 167,100 per year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonusor incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
