Belong Ottawa Social Support Worker, Ahuntsic North

As a Social Support Worker, you will report directly to the Program Manager, contributing to the planning and execution of daily programming. Your work will involve closely monitoring participants' progress and facilitating outreach services to ensure their social and emotional needs are met. By collaborating with community resources, you will help connect participants with critical support services.

Key Responsibilities:• Foster a safe environment within the Centre • Engage participants through organized activities • Monitor and report on program outcomes • Assist in emergency management plans • Collaborate with staff and volunteers on-site

Requirements:• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience • Experience working with vulnerable populations • Knowledge of community resources • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Flexibility in a demanding work environment
