CFT Recycling is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer / Equipment Operator to join our recycling yard team at our Bank Street location. This position is well-suited for an individual with hands‑on general labour experience and familiarity operating machinery in an industrial or outdoor environment.In this role, you will support daily yard operations, including material handling, sorting, and site organization, as well as the safe operation of equipment such as loaders or similar machinery. The wage for this position is $20.00– $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment (e.g., loaders or similar yard equipment) safely and efficiently Sort, move, and dump scrap metal (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.) Handle and organize tires and other recyclable materials Assist with loading and unloading materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environmentSupport general labour tasks as required Provide courteous customer service when needed Follow all health and safety procedures and report any hazards or issues Qualifications:

3–5+ years of experience in general labour, yard work, or industrial environments is required Previous experience operating machinery or heavy equipment is required Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable, punctual,and strong work ethicSafety-conscious with a positive, team-oriented attitude Why Work With Us:
