CGDA is a dance studio in Findlay Creek, Ottawa, and we want to expand our dance family. We are looking for energetic, professional, and organized individuals who are passionate about teaching dance to children of all ages. Positions available for September 2023. Ballet, Tap&Hip Hop instructors needed! Skills and Qualifications: Registered or trained RAD teacher preferred for Ballet ADAPT Syllabus knowledge preferred for Tap Experience and interest in teaching children of all ages Dance education background Role Responsibilities: Teach technique classes from beginner to advanced levelsEncourage artistic development Develop dance curricula and prepare lesson plans Communicate effectively with a diverse group of teachers and students Evaluate student performance and provide improvement recommendations Choreograph routines for recitals and performances Prepare students for dance examinations, auditions, and performancesSubstitute teach as needed based on availability Conduct group and private lessons as required Provide a fun and creative learning environment
