The OCSB is seeking a Library Technician. The work locations can be found in our Job Description:Under the direction of the Principal, the Library Technician: Operates the school Learning Commons and provides services in an automated/digital environment; Promotes authors, books, literacy, technology, and holds special events; Performs administrative functions related to the Learning Commons and/or school;Coordinates volunteers’ activities; Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications: Degree/diploma in relevant field (Library Technician, Information Science, etc.); 2 years of related experience; Expertise with Insignia or similar library software, Google Suite, hardware/software, mobile tech, AV equipment;Comfortable with new technologies (3D printing, robotics, coding, Cricut); Positive team player, able to work independently; Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; Equivalent education and experience considered; Personal vehicle may be required. Status: Casual Library Technicians must be available to work on call during school hours.Salary: Hourly wage of $31.64 plus 4% in lieu of vacation (effective September 2025, $32.64).
