Full rate of pay of $18.43 per hour

Job Description

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way

Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards

Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions

Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

2‑3 years server experience in a similar fine dining/upscale environment

Previous point of sale system experience is an asset

WSET or other certification will also be considered an asset but not required

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Fluent in both official languages would be a strong asset

Smart Serve Certification required

Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities

Highly responsible and reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Passing grade on the written recruitment and final server exam

Available to 5 shifts per week including all holidays and hours of operation

Physical Aspects Of Position

Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs

Occasional kneeling, lifting

Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
