We’re searching for Creature FX Artists who can simulate the subtle muscle jiggle of a charging beast, the tension of tendons under fur, or the fluid motion of skin sliding over bone. If you obsess over creature behavior, muscle dynamics, and secondary simulation — this is your arena.As a

Creature FX Artist , you will be responsible for building and simulating realistic anatomical systems that give weight, motion, and believability to digital creatures. You\'ll collaborate closely with riggers, animators, and TDs to create simulations that integrate flawlessly into final renders. Key Responsibilities

Simulate skin, muscles, tendons, fat, hair, fur, and cloth on realistic creatures and characters. Create physically accurate muscle and skin setups using tools such as Ziva, Houdini, Maya, or proprietary systems. Collaborate with rigging and animation teams to ensure seamless integration of FX rigs and simulated deformations.Develop procedural workflows and caching systems for performance optimization. Iterate on simulations based on creative direction, reference footage, and anatomical studies. Troubleshoot complex simulation behaviors and maintain asset fidelity through shot production. Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a Creature FX Artist or similar role with a strong reel showcasing anatomical simulation. Proficiency in tools such as Maya, Houdini, Ziva Dynamics, or equivalent muscle/cloth solvers. Solid grasp of creature anatomy, physics-based simulation, and dynamic deformation. Knowledge of rigging and skinning workflows is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
