Procurement and Purchasing Agent (Laval)

Your Mandate In collaboration with the Plant Manager to meet production deadlines, the Procurement and Purchasing Agent will be responsible for: - Performing daily purchasing for the operation of our offices and manufacturing facilities - Maintaining the inventory system on a daily basis - Researching recent products and new suppliers - Negotiating prices, payment terms, and discounts with current and potential suppliers and subcontractors - Reviewing incoming vendor contracts and ensuring they meet the company’s established parameters - Reading incoming contracts and calculating the required quantities of fabric, hardware, and/or accessories needed for production, then placing the necessary orders - Actively supporting each department in monitoring seasonal inventory - Regularly reassessing minimum and maximum order quantities and defining required purchases Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, or any other equivalent training 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently Analytical mindset Team player Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to details Strong interpersonal skills Required Skill Profession Other General Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ozvhm
