Merchandiser/Territory Representative (Laval)

Merchandiser / Territory Sales Rep (Dr. Oetker) Laval & surrounding area Market Recon is hiring an energetic Merchandiser/Territory Sales Representative to support one of their high-profile clients, Dr. Oetker, across Laval and nearby markets. This role is 85% merchandising and 15% sales, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and building robust in-store relationships. The ideal candidate will reside in Laval to successfully cover the assigned territory which includes Laval, Blainville, Mirabel, Ste Thérèse, Terrebonne, St-Eustache, St-Jérome, St-Sauveur, and Morin Heights (approximately 40% Laval and 60% from Bois-des-Filion to Sainte-Adèle). What you’ll do: - Visit grocery stores on a set route to stock product, rotate product, and maintain strong product presence - Build eye-catching displays and secure secondary placements to increase sales - Execute promotions, upsell orders, and support in-store marketing programs - Develop relationships with store managers and department heads - Manage your territory schedule, ensuring consistent coverage and reporting - Provide feedback from the field to support ongoing sales strategy What you get: - Base salary (to be discussed based on experience) - Monthly car allowance - Cell phone allowance - Quarterly bonus opportunities - Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week) and no weekends What we’re looking for: - 1–2 years of retail, merchandising, or grocery experience (required) - Comfortable with light sales, upselling, and meeting performance targets - Bilingual (French & English) - Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Physically able to lift and stock product (including freezers) - Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required (car allowance provided) Join a supportive team and represent a trusted, well-known brand in the market.
