As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will report directly to the Shop Supervisor. This role requires understanding of mechanical systems and calls for field service work, including maintaining heavy machinery. A 421A Certification is needed, and you should possess your own tools along with superb communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and repair construction equipment in the shop • Make field service calls to resolve mechanical issues • Work on rotation shifts for winter operations support • Adjust, overhaul, and maintain asphalt and aggregate machinery • Use computers and electronic resources effectively

Requirements:• 421A Certification required • Experience with construction and paving equipment • Own tools necessary for the role • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
