Ontario Health is seeking a knowledgeable Tissue Recovery Coordinator who will conduct eye tissue recoveries and assist with other tissue types, including heart valves and skin. The position demands a university degree in health sciences and extensive experience in health environments, specifically in surgical or clinical settings. You will work with the TGLN team to ensure quality and compliance in all recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform surgical recovery of eye tissue from deceased individuals • Coordinate potential tissue donor assessments • Package and transport tissues using aseptic technique • Document and review recovery processes accurately • Maintain and prepare required medical equipment

Requirements:• University degree or college diploma in health sciences • Four years’ experience in health sciences, clinical or surgical settings • Certification in tissue banking or related fields is an asset • Valid class G driver’s licence and access to a vehicle • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform on-call shifts
