Wired for the Future Ltd. is an MSP/TSP based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving small and medium‑sized businesses across Canada. Position
Computer and Network Technician– Level 2 – Full‑time position located in Ottawa, Ontario. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Set up and maintain computer networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and ensure network security. Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement network infrastructure.Provide technical support to end‑users for hardware, software, and network‑related issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as migrations, system updates, and backups. Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures. Serve as the primary on‑site Ottawa technician, functioning independentlyand as part of a team.Participate in after‑hours on‑call shifts on a task‑by‑task basis as needed. Skills&Qualifications
Required skills: Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet). Experience with network security technologies and best practices. Knowledge of cable management, Office 365/Microsoft 365, and VoIP. On‑site installation experience. Preferred skills: Previous knowledge of Medical and Dental Practice Management Systems.Working at Heights Certificate. Experience
Computer networking: 2 years (required). Computer technician: 2 years (required). Licences&Certifications
Class G licence (required). Working at Heights Certificate (preferred). Any other relevant certifications are an asset. Work Conditions
An on‑site role requiring travel to client sites; requires a valid Ontario G‑class driver’s licence and clean driving record. Benefits

Base salary: $55,000.00– $60,000.00 per year. Location
